ABOUT CHARITYWORKS

1.

Charityworks is the UK non-profit sector talent programme, accessible to all organisations regardless of size, profile, or activity – and a proven, affordable way to find and develop brilliant talent for your organisation.

2.

Each year Charityworks attracts a pool of the most talented individuals, ready to fill live vacancies in organisations across almost any function, from the frontline to business development, fundraising, communications, HR, finance and many more.

3.

Trainees spend 12 months in your organisation in a full time paid role whilst taking part in an ILM-recognised leadership programme with mentoring, peer coaching, conferences and undertaking research to benefit your organisation.

THE OPPORTUNITY TO DRIVE CHANGE

As someone who has spent over 20 years working in and around the social sector, I know that being a manager and leader in this sector can be as exhausting and challenging in its low moments as it can be rewarding and thrilling at its high points.

As the sector recovers and adapts with resilience following the global pandemic, possibly the most pressing social leadership challenge of our generation and navigates through an economic climate characterised by the current cost of living crisis, it could not be more important for us to collectively inspire and support the next generation of leaders who will be able to ensure that the non-profit and charity space continues to serve those who need it across the country – both now, and in the future for many years to come.

Our belief is that it is only by attracting and developing great people can we expect to make the kind of change we want to see in society. I hope your team can join us and experience the support and challenge that having a talented person in your team can bring, and the hugely positive impact a potential Charityworks trainee might offer this year or beyond.

42% BAME

With the vision and mission behind the programme more important than ever, we are incredibly proud to say that our 2023 offer will be our most diverse yet with a talent pool that is 42% Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic (BAME).  This presents an amazing opportunity for us to collectively power up and accelerate the development of BAME leaders across the piece and I’m delighted that this will be such a strong part of our offer this year.
