Charityworks 2011 Application process is OPEN from 1st February 2011

On the 1 February the application process for the 2011/12 charityworks intake will be open. We invite applications from graduates across the UK who are seeking a career in the charity sector. We will continue to raise the profile of the programme to ensure we attract the best calibre applicants through a series of campus based events. We are also recruiting to High Flyer places on the programme and are inviting applications from people already working in a charitable organisation who have been identified as having management and leadership potential for the future. The application process will close on the 1st May and successful applicants will be invited to attend assessment centres on the 13/14/22/23 June.

Snap Shot of Progress in 2009-2010

After 2 years of development work our original ideas have finally come to fruition and CharityWorks now has an energy of its own. Our Class of 2009 have been more than busy delivering real jobs, planning a business focussed assignment whilst also taking part in the management training programme. Feedback from participating charities has been extremely positive and our class seem more than happy with the experience so far. We didn't waste any time getting started and in fact on day 2 of the induction programme the class were introduced to the political context they will be working within. Straight away they were learning from the experts as we were fortunate enough to be joined by the NCVO and the Office of the Third Sector who together provided an excellent overview of the policy drivers and issues effecting the charity sector right now - professional networking was underway!
